Spurfect Spotting: Spurs' legend Tim Duncan attends daughter Sidney's volleyball game
The 5x NBA Champion and Hall of Famer makes a rare appearance at daughter's volleyball game

San Antonio Spurs’ legendary power forward, hall of famer, and 5x NBA champion Tim Duncan has another accolade to add to his list of accomplishments. The former NBA star is also a proud “Girl Dad”.
The NBA legend was spotted in the crowd alongside his spouse, Vanessa Macias, this past Saturday at the Maples Pavilion in Stanford, California to watch his daughter, Sidney play against the University of Kentucky Women’s volleyball team.
Sidney, who graduated from Keystone private high school in San Antonio this past year, committed to the Stanford Cardinals to play with the 2024 University of Stanford volleyball class.
Her role on the team is middle blocker, opposite/right side and she now stands at 6’4.
The Cardinals ended up defeating the Wildcats 3-1 this past Saturday. The Cardinals team is now ranked #2 in the country, just behind Nebraska, who beat the Cardinals 0-3 the week prior.
Their next game is Friday, September 27th against Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana.
