The Spurs Last Interviews Of The Season
A recap of the Spurs final words to fans after the 2024-2025 NBA season.
That's a wrap on the 2024–2025 NBA season for the San Antonio Spurs. The Spurs won 34 games this season, falling just shy of making the play-in tournament. Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes added much-needed veteran leadership, helping the team improve with 12 more wins than last season.
This season had its highs and lows and was an emotional rollercoaster for fans, players, and the coaching staff alike. After finishing strong with a comeback win against the Toronto Raptors, 125–118, the players gave their final post-game interviews. Spurfect’s own Carolina Teague was in the press room asking questions, and we’ve got a full recap of everyone’s reactions.
Stephon Castle
Let’s start with the presumed Rookie of the Year, Stephon Castle. Officially a rookie no more, the young guard thanked fans, saying, “It wasn’t really surprising they showed out like that for the last home game,” and shared that the team’s future is looking bright. He also spoke on how the team grew closer while overcoming adversity, including injuries to both players and Head Coach Gregg Popovich. Here’s the full clip:
Jeremy Sochan
Unfortunately, third-year forward Jeremy Sochan ended the season on the bench due to back soreness. His message to Spurs fans for next season? “We love y’all,” and a promise to “bring back that nasty for real.” Check out his response:
